BIGGER THAN YOU AND ME
Bigger Than You And Me is a community minded, service oriented and heart centered event, established in 2016 with the intention is to support direct financial needs in its local and global communities, based on need. Community is called to action based on who and what presents the need for support.
In 2011, this community lost a friend who also happened to be a humanitarian, a soul brother, a dad, a love, a son and also an incredible musician, songwriter and producer whose philosophy was “People First; Music Second”. It is in honor of Randy Ponzio’s intentions and acts of community service that we name this organization after his signature song, Bigger Than You And Me. Through music, our intention is to carry on this work, keeping his spirit alive inside our hearts and through action.
Our vision is to provide local professional and emerging music artists & DJ's with opportunities to perform, share and pay-it-forward, while also contributing directly to community. This comes in the form of a benefit concert and an atmosphere of love, which Randy would have created himself as he was known for helping others.
In 2016, the very first BIGGER THAN YOU AND ME was a huge success, partnering with the Inland Refugee Society, raising nearly $2000 and ALSO being able to pay our artists (cuz they have to eat too) and we knew that the next one would happen when we felt called.
Today in this world there is a calling to raise funds to help the people in Gaza - some way; some how. We are watching a genocide take place and a starvation campaign. Many of us feel helpless and want to help but don't know how. So we will put it into action and let music be that vehicle.
